Every week, making the best bets for the Green Bay Packers, the team gives me hope of having a good day. This team is frustrating; they have no identity on offense. They are one of the most efficient teams in the second half, but the first half is a train wreck. This week, we will do the famous Matt Lafluer and, respectively, “self-scout” myself on these bets.

The best bets fall to 8-12 on the year, but now is a great time to turn it around.

First, here is a recap from week eight’s bets against the Minnesota Vikings.

Green Bay Packers Week Eight Betting Results

Jordan Love Over 1.5 Passing Touchdowns – Love ended the day with one touchdown. Dontayvion Wicks dropped a wide-open slant that was a walk-in touchdown. Christian Watson had a ball hit him square in the hands in a jump ball opportunity. Regardless of the opportunities, this one was a loss. (Loss)

T.J. Hockenson Over 5.5 Receptions – Well, I bet on the other side, and they come through for me. Hockenson finished the day with six catches. I thought he’d have an even bigger day, but the Packers perimeter corners were getting torched. Nonetheless, it was a win. (Win)

Romeo Doubs Over 41.5 Receiving Yards – No more receiving props for me. Romeo Doubs finished with four for 18 yards. It’s a plus matchup for the Packers through the air, and he ends up with that. Packers receivers and tight-ends are on the “do not bet list. (Loss)

Green Bay Packers vs. Los Angeles Rams Best Bets

Darrell Henderson Jr. Over 45.5 Rush Yards

It sounds like Brett Rypien is getting the nod; I would expect them to lean on the run game.  The Packers are giving up 132 yards per game on the ground. Even if Henderson splits carries, he should get over 45 yards.

Jordan Love Over 13.5 Rush Yards

Jordan Love has passed this number five of the seven times this year. With interior pressure, I can see him evading the pocket often. He hits this number.

First Half Total Points Under 19

For the past few weeks, I have been going against the grain and banking on the Green Bay Packers to turn the first-half offense around. Not anymore.

Two bottom-of-the-league teams scoring in the first half —this number is too high. Packers are currently averaging an astonishing four points per first half on the year. The Rams are sitting at 11 points per first half and are coming into the game without Matthew Stafford.

I expect a field goal frenzy in the first half and would be surprised if it got even close to 19.
