The Green Bay Packers (1-0) kicked off the post Aaron Rodgers era with a 38-20 beatdown of the Chicago Bears on the road. Confirming what we already knew, it doesn’t matter who lines up under center; the Packers QB1 automatically becomes the owner of the lowly Bears franchise.

But it’s just one week, and the Packers have a new opportunity to prove themselves against the Atlanta Falcons (1-0) at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Here’s a look at a few of the biggest pregame storylines for the Packers week two matchup against the Dirty Birds.

All Eyes Are Still on Green Bay Packers QB Jordan Love

Nobody knew what to expect from Green Bay Packers starting quarterback Jordan Love heading into the season opener against the Bears, but boy did he deliver.

Love completed 15-of-27 passes for 245 yards with three touchdowns, no interceptions, and a 123.2 passer rating. What made it even more impressive was that he played without his top wideout, Christian Watson, and his No. 2 option, Romeo Dobbs, was on a pitch count.

How Love follows up his impressive week, one performance will be one of the biggest storylines ahead of Sunday’s tilt vs. Atlanta. If he can string together a couple of promising starts early in the season, watching this young Packers offense grow together could be a lot of fun.

Can the Green Bay Packers Defense Stop Atlanta’s Two-Headed Monster?

Atalanta undoubtedly has one of the better 1,2 punches at running back in the NFC with Tyler Allgeier and first-round pick Bijan Robinson, who each averaged over five yards per carry in week one.

The Green Bay Packers front seven looked stout against the Bears and allowed just 92 yards on the ground in week one — but they’ll need a repeat performance against Atlanta to pick up another road win.

The Packers Pass Rush Could Give Atlanta Fits

It’s no secret that the Atlanta Falcons have a game manager at QB in Desmond Ridder. But it’s hard for any young quarterback to manage a game while lying on their back.

In week one, Ridder was sacked four times on just 22 dropbacks. The lackluster offensive line play should be extra terrifying for Ridder, considering the Green Bay Packers pass rush generated 36 pressures in week one. That’s damn near half of the offensive snaps Green Bay’s defense was in the backfield, wreaking havoc.

Devonte Wyatt, Lukas Van Ness, Kenny Clark, and Rashan Gary were men amongst boys last weekend. If the Packers front seven looks half as sharp as they did in week one — it will be a long day for the inexperienced Falcons offense.
