The Green Bay Packers defeated the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving day, 29-22. Multiple guys stepped up and had career-best games. The Packers played a full game of complementary football. This type of win can catapult a team to an end-of-the-season run.

This article will list the top five worst and best PFF-graded players from each side of the ball.  We will also include some stats and some context to the grades.

By Analyzing these stats, we can get a better idea if they match up to what we see statistically. The PFF Grades are not everything, but they give a good measure of where the player stands. A grade above 70 is good, and the 60s is average. A grade that is below 50 would be considered below average.

Green Bay Packers Offense Analysis

The Packers were explosive against the Detroit Lions. Six different Packers made a play of 14 or more yards. Jordan Love had one of the best games of his young career, throwing for 268 yards and three touchdowns. The Packers wide receivers were making contested catches and looked the best they have looked this year.

Credit To Christian Watson and Jordan Love for starting fast and connecting on the 53-yard pass to start the game.

The Packers played a complete game and still left a lot of points out there. Overall, it was a great showing by this young Packers offense.

Green Bay Packers Defense Analysis

Rashan Gary was a menace in the game—a three-sack day, with two forced fumbles and one recovery. This is why he got the contract he got. Karl Brooks had another good game, with a sack and forced fumble. These last few games, Brooks has really come into his own. The Defensive line played their best game of the year and came against one of the best offensive lines in the league.

The secondary hung in there and did what they had to do to get the win. Jonathan Owens played his best game of the year. He finished with 12 tackles and a fumble recovery for a touchdown. He also had a few big hits in the game.

The defense was by no means spectacular, but they made enough plays to win the game. They gave up 140 yards rushing but could mask it with turnovers. They get another tough matchup as the Chiefs come to Lambeau next week.
