The Green Bay Packers come away victorious after what has felt like a long past month. The Packers beat the Rams 20-3 and improved to 3-5. They are at the same record as in 2022 through eight games, though this year has felt much worse. The Packers have a lot of room for improvement, but the win against the Rams was encouraging.
This article will list the top five worst and best PFF-graded players from each side of the ball. We will also include some stats and some context to the grades.
By Analyzing these stats, we can get a better idea if they match up to what we see statistically. The PFF Grades are not everything, but they give a good measure of where the player stands. A grade above 70 is good, and the 60s is average. A grade that is below 50 would be considered below average.

Green Bay Packers Offense Analysis
The Packers offensive line played their best game of the year. They were creating running lanes for the backs. The offense still can’t get out of their way, with four driving-killing mistakes. Two offsides on fourth and short that they did convert. Two fumbles, one from Wicks and one from Jones.
The offense finally was able to establish the run, and it opened up the pass game. Jordan Love was efficient on the day, completing 20/26 passes for 228 yards. He did take four sacks, but he did not turn the ball over.
Outside of Dontayvion Wicks fumble, he is flashing some real ability. He converted multiple third downs. In the past few weeks, he has become more involved in the offense. The Packers may have found a late-round gem with Wicks.
The whole offensive line played well. The Packers had 184 rush yards. If the offensive line can play like this every week, this team has a chance.

Green Bay Packers Defense Analysis
The Green Bay Packers defense brought the energy. Carrington Valentine stepped up in a big way with the departure of Rasul Douglas. The seventh-round rookie had his best game as a pro yet.
Isaiah McDuffie arguably played his best game in the absence of Quay Walker. He had seven tackles, two for loss. The Packers were down a few guys Sunday, and their replacements stepped up.
This was one of the few games this year that felt like the Joe Barry-led defense played aggressively. It may be due to the Rams starting Brett Rypien at quarterback, but the Packers were flying around. The Packers only allowed 68 yards on the ground on 26 rush attempts.
Let’s hope the Packers can build off this game defensively and get some momentum moving forward.
