The Green Bay Packers fall to 2-5, and the team’s performance regresses. The offensive line is a mess, players can’t catch the ball, and the team lacks guys with attitude.
This article will list the top five worst and best PFF-graded players from each side of the ball. We will also include some stats and some context to the grades.
By Analyzing these stats, we can get a better idea if they match up to what we see statistically. The PFF Grades are not everything, but they give a good measure of where the player stands. A grade above 70 is good, and the 60s is average. A grade that is below 50 would be considered below average.

Green Bay Packers Offense Analysis
The Packers offense is desperately in need of someone to step up. The offense is frustrating to watch; the amount of penalties they accumulate gives them no chance at an offensive rhythm. Constantly sitting in third and long is a recipe for losing many games.
Elgton Jenkins responded well after a tough week last week and a poor year. He may have been playing injured and getting healthy; this team needs him to be a stud. Zach Tom is the Packers most consistent offensive lineman and a building block for this line.
Josiah Deguara continues to bring little to no value on offense. Every week, he is missing key blocks, and they need to make a change. David Bakhtiari has left a hole on this offense, one that the Packers can’t figure out how to fix. Matt Lafluer asked who would start at left tackle between Yosh Nijman and Rasheed Walker. He responded, “That’s gonna be up for discussion, I’d say, this week.”
Overall, this offense is a trainwreck. The execution is at the poorest level you could imagine.

Green Bay Packers Defense Analysis
The Green Bay Packers defense allowed the Vikings to convert ten third downs and a fourth down. A third and long for the Vikings seemed like it was a pitch and catch and an easy conversion. At some point, they must play aggressively and can’t worry about getting beat deep.
Preston Smith has been playing well in the past few games. In this game, he shined in the run game and pass. He ended the game with two sacks, a tackle for loss, and four quarterback hits. Preston also broke up a touchdown pass while covering T.J. Hockenson.
Devonte Wyatt and T.J. Slaton are the future of this defensive line. Wyatt has been great all year in his increased role. Slaton remains strong in the run game as he improves rushing the quarterback. He finished the day with two tackles for loss.
Rasul Douglas and Jaire Alexander were getting beat all game long. Rookie Jordan Addison and K.J. Osborn were unafraid of the Packers top two corners. The route didn’t matter; they were getting beat. When your top three defensive players end up with bottom five grades, the defense needs a change.
