Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love (10) is hugged by head coach Matt LaFleur after throwing a touchdown pass during the fourth quarter of their game at Lambeau Field Sunday, November 5, 2023 in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The Green Bay Packers beat the Los Angeles Rams 20-3.

The Green Bay Packers defensive struggles continue. The loss to the Buccaneers puts them in a win, or their chance of the playoffs is diminished. The performance Sunday against the Buccaneers is not what you want to see this late in the season. The Offense did what they could to keep them in the game but ultimately couldn’t keep up.

This article will list the top five worst and best PFF-graded players from each side of the ball.  We will also include some stats and some context to the grades.

By Analyzing these stats, we can get a better idea if they match up to what we see statistically. The PFF Grades are not everything, but give a good measure of where the player stands. A grade above 70 is good, and the 60s is average. A grade that is below 50 would be considered below average.

Green Bay Packers Offense Analysis

The young guys for the Packers are starting to shine. Dontayvion Wicks and Jayden Reed have led this receiving group as of late, and it looks like Gutekunst has hit on this draft. This was Jordan Love’s eighth straight game, throwing for over 200 yards while being much more efficient. He has thrown for 14 touchdowns and four interceptions in that same span.

As long as this group keeps improving, they can be special for years to come.

Green Bay Packers Defense

Top Five Defensive Grades

1. Kingsley Enagbare – PFF Grade: 90.7

2. T.J. Slaton – PFF Grade: 69.0

3. Lukas Van Ness – PFF Grade: 68.3

4. Jonathan Owens – PFF Grade: 66.3

5. Rashan Gary – PFF Grade: 62.4

Bottom Five Defensive Grades

1. Colby Wooden – PFF Grade: 26.6

2. Quay Walker – PFF Grade: 29.5

3. Carrington Valentine – PFF Grade: 34.4

4. Corey Ballentine – PFF Grade: 46.0

5. Eric Stokes – PFF Grade: 46.8

Green Bay Packers Defense Analysis

Disappointing. Pathetic. Zero adjustments and absolutely embarrassed at home. Baker Mayfield threw for 381 yards, four touchdowns, and a perfect passer rating. This was the second time Mayfield had eclipsed 300 yards; the last time was September 17th against the Bears. Years of draft capital for this? A change is needed.
