The Green Bay Packers had one of their best drafts in several years in 2023. Can they follow it up with another outstanding class? Let’s take a look at some players to watch heading into the NFL combine.

Kiran Amegadjie’s Background

Kiran played his high school football at Hinsdale High, Illinois, and his college at Yale. In his first season, Amegadjie changed from guard to tackle while playing for the Bulldogs. While playing for Yale, he showed elite power, athleticism, and good size. Kiran is recorded as being 6’5″ tall and 318 pounds. During his 2023 season, Kiran suffered a season-ending quad injury, which cut his season to only four games. He is pursuing a Bachelor’s in Economics and is interested in Investment banking or Wealth Management. If he continues to the next level, he will have plenty of wealth to manage with that degree.

How Kiran Amegadjie Would Fit With the Green Bay Packers

It’s no secret that the Green Bay Packers need to add some depth at Tackle. I would never blame the loss to the 49ers loss on one player. It is, however, undeniable the injury to Zach Tom had on the offense. Kiran would bring a lot to a would-be NFL suiter.

He has an impressive frame and great reach to combine with elite strength. Amegadjie also has an excellent first step, crucial in the NFL, facing edge players with Elite Speed. He shows that going to Yale can translate to the football field as he is rarely fooled by stunts and delayed blitzes. When you combine his size and strength with elite intelligence, you get a force to be reckoned with.

Hopefully, the Packers will give him a good look heading into the NFL combine while they look to increase the depth in the offense line room.
