With the conclusion of the Green Bay Packers 2023-2024 football season, we look at who stood out.
Green Bay Packers Team Awards
MVP: Jordan Love
Most of us will agree that he was the most consistent leader of the team. He showed he can be a franchise quarterback, and you could see his growth through the season. There were a few ugly mistakes throughout the season, but the good outweighed the bad.
Stats for the Regular Season and Playoffs
Yards: 4624
Completion %: 64.5
Touchdowns: 37
Interceptions: 13
Sacked: 29
Rookie Of The Year: Jayden Reed
Not enough can be said about the Packers rookies this year. Every rookie showed flashes and was a contributor in big games. Ultimately, Jayden Reed was the best offensive rookie for the Packers this year. He was mainly used in the slot but got about 25% of snaps outside and took snaps in the backfield.
Stats for the Regular Season and Playoffs
Targets: 97
Receptions: 68
Yards: 828
Total Touchdowns: 10
Longest Reception: 59
Defensive Player Of The Year: Rashan Gary
The Packers didn’t have a full season of dominance from any of their guys. I think the other two guys that could be deserving of this award are Kenny Clark and Preston Smith. The Packers are lacking a true superstar on the defensive side.
Pass Rush Stats
Sacks: 9
Hurries: 43
Win %: 16%
Most Improved Player: Rasheed Walker
Hands down, Rasheed Walker was a night and day difference from the beginning of the season to the end of the season. He may not be the all-pro that Bakhtiari was, but he made strides of improvement and still has much to improve. With the ascension of his play, the Packers now have a big decision on what to do with Bakhtiari.
Walker allowed six sacks and 36 pressures on the season and post-season. He finished with the second-highest PFF grade of the 2022 draft class of offensive tackles. The Packers did it again, finding a stud in the seventh round.
Final Thoughts
The team is young and has a lot of good players. If they grow like they grew through the season, the team has the chance to be special. With the new addition of Jeff Hafley, I am excited to see how the defense can perform.

What to Expect From Green Bay Packers New Defensive Coordinator Jeff Hafley
Offensively, I’m curious how Gutenkunst approaches the draft. Do they add some depth to the offensive line or add more playmakers on the offense with the five picks inside the top 100? The offense is in a good spot, but you can never have enough playmakers.
Special teams need to take a big step next year. It was an underachieving group under Rich Bisaccia last year. The field goal unit needs significant improvement from the snapper to the holder to Carlson. That group has to be better, missing 13 kicks in the last 14 games.
